From 1970 through 2007, Yves Saint Laurent created and mailed a unique series of poster-style greeting cards to his friends, collaborators, and clients annually.
Each year, the cards featured a new color palette and were executed using techniques like collage, drawings, and gouache. The consistent leitmotif was the word "LOVE." Many of these creations were inspired by Morocco, where Saint Laurent often produced them, as well as by the work of artists such as Georges Braque, Jean Cocteau, Andy Warhol, and Henri Matisse.

This collection comprises three examples of specialized, full-color police silhouette targets designed by the renowned Belgian cartoonist Malik (William Tai). These targets were specifically commissioned for advanced firearms training and qualification by the Liège Police in Belgium, likely during the 1990s.
The pieces are unique for their detailed illustration style, which deviates from standard monochrome target sheets. Each figure is rendered in a different armed threat scenario:
All three targets have been professionally prepared for display: they are framed with a passe-partout, protected by glass, and set in a natural wood frame.
Dimensions 80x103 cm (framed)
